| I just saw Palin slink off the stage in her boss tweeds. So when does she start donating the $150K duds to charity? November 2012? |

An historic moment has happened that can only be thought of as a positive.
There are not enough words that I know of that could put this significant event into perspective.
A significant chunk of equality has been achieved tonight.
And that can only be thought of as a positive. |

Number one thing I want to see as a result of this is a reduction of the Black prison population. _________________ He's baaaack.....

They can start by swapping them out with members of the Bush administrations. Plural. |

I'll accept that explanation. It's less sinister. |

If McCain (or any republican) had won, you'd see faces in the crowd grinning like their team had won a football game, USA, USA chants, big fat greedy faces knowing their 500HP turbo-diesels can go merily polluting the skies as they drive back to their snake den...
But what did we see on the faces waiting for Obama... tears of joy, elation, hope.
Did anyone else feel that collective sigh of relief from the rest of the world tonight? |

I'd characterize my mood as one of guarded optimism. This recession is going to be long, deep, and nasty. And war has always been good for business........
I hope Obama and the new congress can find new ways to stimulate the economy. Such as green technologies, etc. |

Yes, I'm probably just feeling overly optimistic.
Plenty of time for the FMR to go - Dick Dasterdly on us.
One other random thought - I just realized that we waited for the hardest, dirtiest work a president has ever had to face has been handed to a "brother". probably something others have realized but my white honky ass just noticed... |
